Restorative Stretch Massage
I created this bodywork session, this after seeing the benefits of restorative stretch with and without massage, after a motor vehicle accident when a semi-truck ran me off the highway into a car abandoned in the shoulder. After 2 years of Physical Therapy, several different massage therapy techniques and Chiropractic appointments, this combination of therapy brought much needed healing and relief.

This massage is performed fully clothed.
Your session will combine passive stretching and therapeutic massage to assist in releasing muscle tension, improving flexibility, and enhancing relaxation. This method focuses on relaxing your muscles while receiving massage, it helps to increase your natural range of motion, and reduce pain, and mental stress.
This therapy is ideal for people of all fitness levels and will be customized for specific needs, making it a versatile option for anyone seeking a gentle yet effective way to relieve pain and restore balance.
At your session:
Passive and Active-Assisted Stretching:
Each session is customized to your strength, flexibility at that time, when you have limitations they will be addressed so that you receive the most benefit from your treatment.
Cassie will place bolsters on the massage table and direct you in positions to relax in. Then you will be guided into specific stretches, targeting tight or overworked muscles. These stretches are gentle, as you relax into the stretch, your muscles will relax and lengthen.
Breathing: You will focus on relaxing and breathing, this will enable deeper more effective stretching.
Massage: While you are relaxing, focusing on your breath, Cassie will massage the muscles with techniques to relax the muscles further, improve blood flow and reduce pain. Techniques such as Myofascial release, Trigger Point Therapy, Neuromuscular therapy.
Joint Mobility: towards the end of the session, Cassie will guide your body into gentle movements and mobilizations to improve joint health and reduce stiffness, especially in areas like the shoulders, hips, and spine.
Focus on Alignment and Relaxation: The goal is to combine therapeutic massage techniques and stretching to restore balance to your body.
