Reflexology

Reflexology is a modality treatment where the therapist applies  pressure, stretching  and movement to the feet, hands and ears, to effect corresponding  parts of the  body.
Reflexology is beneficial in many ways. It helps relieve stress and promotes health to the entire organ system and body. It utilizes a system of zones and reflex areas (nerve  endings) located in the feet, hands and ears,  that correspond to every gland and organ in the body.  Gentle stimulation  of these reflex areas promotes relaxation, improves circulation and digestion, increases elimination of toxins, soothes tired feet, and reduces pain naturally.  Continued use of reflexology can help our bodies develop an improved response to stress, helping our bodies "reset" their tension level.

What to expect;

A reflexology session is typically conducted in either a  semi-reclined or fully-reclined position (adjustments can be made for those with special needs or circumstances). All reflexology sessions are received  fully clothed, with only shoes and socks removed for access to the feet and the lower leg, hands and sometimes the ears, unless incorporated with a massage treatment.

Your reflexology session will begin with you filling out an intake form. Then you will be allowed time to remove your socks/shoes and get onto the table and get comfortable. Next your therapist will place hot towels on  your feet to warm them and prepare for treatment. While you relax; your needs and the outcome you are hoping to achieve with the session will be discussed.
Then the reflexology treatment that fits you will be recommended, which will be;  relaxation, therapeutic or a combination of the two.  Your reflexologist will then proceed with the reflexology treatment by gently stimulating specific reflex points to help align and balance your body and mind.  When the foot treatment is finished, a custom oil blend will be applied to your feet.

Treatment Options

Reflexology treatments  have been found  to be highly effective for  conditions  such as  allergies, headaches, and depression.

For our  60 minute Treatment Focus is on the Feet.

If you choose 90 minutes, then we will have time to do more focused work on your hands or you can choose to have all 90 minutes on just hands or just feet.

Then as you leave you will be provided cool refreshing water.

Is Reflexology considered
medical care?

Reflexology is a great complement to traditional medicine; however it is not intended as a substitute for medical care. Reflexologists do not diagnose health conditions nor do we prescribe or change medications.
Reflexology provides gentle, non-invasive support to the body's natural health system and helps to re-balance and naturally restore.

"I had severe back pain from pulling a muscle in my back.  I suffered for about 10 days before getting a Reflexology treatment.  Sitting, standing, lying down, everything hurt my back, and it even started extending to my gluets and hamstring.
I finally got a treatment, and I was amazed, I slept for the first time since the injury,. I woke with some pain, but it was manageable, and I have energy to get my job done! Thanks James for the amazing relief! I will be back in a week as you suggested!" B. C.
